Prior to joining the bank, Garrett coached high school wrestling for six years after graduating from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, and one of his favorite weekends of the year is the IHSA State Wrestling tournament at State Farm Center every February. His areas of knowledge include personal loans, commercial lending, and SBA (Small Business Administration) loans. He takes the most satisfaction out of helping others purchase their first vehicle or tools for their small business. In addition to his work at the bank, Colton serves as a board member for United Way of Danville Area. He is a graduate of Vermilion Advantage's Leadership Tomorrow Program (Class 36) and proudly serves as an ambassador for the Vermilion Advantage Ambassador Program. When he’s not busy at the office, you can find this sports fan golfing, lifting weights, swimming, or playing basketball or pickleball. Colton also loves tailgating and watching Illini football games with family and friends. He moved to Vermilion County in 2012 and is proud to call it home, staying actively involved in the community. He is currently serving his second term as President of the Danville Sunrise Rotary and serves as Vice President of the Habitat for Humanity of Danville Board. He is also a board member for Crosspoint Human Services. Jason has volunteered extensively with the Boy Scouts of America, serving as a Den Leader, Troop Committee member, and District Chair for the Prairielands Council Many Trails District. He also enjoys giving back through local events like Balloons Over Vermilion and the Festival of Trees. In fact, Jason proposed to his fiancée, Kendra Edwards, during the 2023 Balloons Over Vermilion event while they were in a hot air balloon over Vermilion County. At Kendra’s encouragement, the two began designing a tree together for the Festival of Trees in 2023 and have continued the tradition each year since. Jason is the proud father of two, Riley and Mikayla.
