Beginning Tuesday, March 1st, people in the Midwest can request one free credit report from each of the credit reporting bureaus /TransUnion, Experian and Equifax/. Consumers can request free copies once every 12 months.

To request a free credit report, consumers can call (877) 322-8228 or order it online at www.annualcreditreport.com*. The request form is also on the Federal Trade Commission's Website, www.ftc.gov/credit*. You can print the form and mail it to:

Annual Credit Report Request Service, P.O. Box 105281, Atlanta, GA 30348-5281.
