Welcome to The Fisher National Bank Web Site. If you are already a client of FNB, I thank you for the opportunity to serve your financial needs and I hope you visit our site often.
The Fisher National Bank opened for business November 18, 1955 at a small office in downtown Fisher, IL. With numerous additions and renovations, this facility served our needs very nicely over the years. In the late 1990s, due to steady growth and the loyalty of our many clients, the board realized it was time to make another investment in the community. We purchased property at the corner of Third St. and Route 136 and started making plans to build a new facility. On September 25, 2000, we opened for business in our new 4000 sq ft facility at 102 E. Division, Fisher, IL. Two years later, on October 7, 2002, we opened our first branch inside a convenience store at 1005 Purnell Drive, Mahomet, IL. We quickly outgrew our space there and in late 2005, purchased property in Mahomet to build a full service branch facility. Located at 1501 E. Oak, this facility opened on June 26, 2006. As the years progressed and the bank continued to grow, we found a need in our area for an answer to our customer's desires of home ownership. In November 2012, FNB Mortgage Solutions was opened at the corner of Neil Street and St. Mary's Road in Champaign. While the lenders at this facility are able to do all types of loans, they will focus primarily on mortgage lending and work directly with customers and realtors to make purchasing a home a reality.
Since our inception, we have provided our community with the financial resources to grow and thrive. Being a community bank, we have the ability to be very responsive to our clients. Loan decisions are made right here and are made promptly. The officers and staff are not just employees, but are leaders of the communities we serve and demonstrate this regularly with their involvement and participation in numerous organizations and boards. Currently we have staff serving on the volunteer fire department, church boards, Lions Club, Athletic Booster Club, Sunday School teachers, Little League coach and other local community service organizations. I hope from this you can see that the bank is just a small part of what our staff does.
As President, I am very proud of our FNB family and I feel this is what separates us from the myriad of other financial institutions there are to choose from. We would be honored to have the opportunity to serve your financial needs. I can assure you, we will work diligently to earn your trust.
Again, thank you for visiting our site and please visit again.
